Popular Hindu faith sees the mighty Himalayas to be the home of the gods. Rich in natural beauty, the Himalayas region of India is full of prayer houses, dating back to antiquity. Numerous legends associated with the great epic of India are associated with these shrines. The following is a brief reference to some of the temples in the region.
